We are now heading for the San Birdino Straits today and then onto Manila, Philippines, a day sooner then scheduled. The Captain was forced to cancel our anchorage at Palau because of sea conditions. Some passengers were disappointed including myself because Palau is another great place for snorkeling and also a place not too many travelers get to. However, the crew (especially the Philippines were thrilled) because we will now have 2 days in Manila. After the Captain made his announcement, cheers were heard throughout the ship. Seeing and hearing the joy of those who haven’t seen their families in some time, certainly made up for my minor disappointment. They will now have additional time to spend with their loved ones.
My laptop is acting up and has been unusable for a couple of days. Our microsoft technician has suggested that I have it looked at while we are docked in Manila.
